Texas native Will Chesney made the noble decision to serve his country in 2002 when he joined the United States Navy. Following the completion of BUD/S Class 246, Will was stationed in Virginia Beach, where he served as a SEAL in multiple deployments worldwide.

For the majority of his career, Will was an esteemed member of the United States Naval Special Warfare Development Group (DEVGRU), or SEAL Team Six, serving as both an operator and handler of military working dogs. Together with his Belgian Malinois, Cairo, Will participated in hundreds of missions, including the operation that resulted in the capture or killing of the notorious terrorist, Osama Bin Laden.

After 13 years of dedicated service, during which he received various medals and commendations, including a Silver Star and a Purple Heart, Will retired from service in 2015 following a grenade explosion that left him injured.

Despite his retirement, Will has continued to serve his country in numerous ways. He is an accomplished author, having authored the best-selling book "No Ordinary Dog." This gripping memoir tells the story of Will's working relationship with Cairo through multiple deployments and how Cairo saved Will's life in more ways than one.

In addition to his writing career, Will is also involved in several volunteer projects that support his fellow veterans. He works with Warrior Health Foundation, supporting veterans suffering from "Operator Syndrome" and those who have suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). Will also works with Warrior Dog, an organization that helps all retired military working dogs find shelter and rehab when they are no longer fit for service.

Beyond his volunteer work, Will also conducts speaking engagements and team-building programs, drawing upon his extensive training and experience to motivate and empower others. He trains dog handlers with various law enforcement agencies and serves on several boards as a Chief Security Advisor, including REV Social Network.

Will's passion for service and his dedication to his fellow veterans is evident in all of his work. He is a shining example of what it means to serve one's country, and he continues to inspire and motivate others to do the same.
